CHICKENS

If I had to choose between a horse, a cow, or one dozen chickens I would choose the dozen chickens. I would choose the chickens because I could take the eggs and sell them until I could buy more chickens. I would buy chickens and sell eggs until I could buy cows. I would breed the cows and milk them, then sell the milk. I would then buy fine horses, breed them, and sell the horses. Eventually I would save enough money to build a small village an I would feed the people of my village with my cows and chickens. So many people would like the way I rule my village and join that I would have a small empire. Next I would take small villages, then bigger ones until I ruled all of Europe.
